{toc} ===Jetfire Web Service=== The Jetfire Web Service provides an client interface to Jetfire Users. It is used to connect to a Jetfire Nexus which provides access to Jetfire workflows. The Jetfire Web Service is used to access: * [WebServiceLogin|Jetfire Web Service Login] is required to access to the Jetfire Nexus. * [WebServiceGetWorkflows|Jetfire Workflows] explains how to retrieve workflows from the Jetfire Nexus. * [WebServiceMethods|Web Methods for Create, Save and Execute] are used with Jetfire Workflows. * [WebServiceSearch|Search] describes the search interface to the Jetfire Nexus to retrieve specific workflows, based on class and filter. * [WebServiceClasses|Jetfire Workflow Classes] describes how to retrieve workflow classes from the Jetfire Nexus. * [WebServiceUtilities|Jetfire Web Service Utilities] is a list of useful tools for understanding the status of the Jetfire Nexus. ===Web Services Client Developer=== The Web Service developer is encouraged to use: * The [WebServiceUtility|Jetfire Web Service API] implements an object-based view of the Web Service for C# developers. This may be used in web and windows forms development to build Web Service clients. The [WebServiceInterface|Web Service Interface] describes how to use the [WebServiceInterfaceDefinition|Jetfire Web Service Interface Definition] to access the Jetfire Nexus. ====Application Development==== [Application Design] features a number of do's and dont's for application development using the Web Service. The [WebService WalkThru|Unit Test Walk Through] page provides an example using the Jetfire Web Service API vs calling the Jetfire Web Service methods. ===Web Service Server=== The Web Service is served by a Microsoft ASP.NET website. It is advantageous for the web service to collate in the same memory as the web users so that multi-user data updating occurs when records are updated.
